Job summary

Glidewell Dental in Irvine, CA designs, fabricates, and repairs dental prostheses using advanced software technology. You will read prescriptions, construct prostheses per doctors’ orders, and adjust designs to ensure proper crown placement and occlusion.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand dexterity for detailed work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Designs, fabricates, and repairs dental prostheses using designated software.
• Reads prescriptions and constructs prostheses per doctors' orders.
• Evaluates and modifies designs for correct crown placement and occlusion.
• Performs undercut curtain checks and removal.
• Performs crown seating simulation and adjusts designs as needed.
• Follows quality standard protocols.
• Uploads design files as required.
• Performs related duties as needed.

• Reads and understands prescription; constructs prostheses by following doctors’ orders and instructions.
• Evaluates and modifies designs to ensure correct crown placement and contact/occlusion parameters are within specification.
• Performs undercut curtain check and removal.
• Performs crown seating simulation and adjusts design as needed.
• Tests software and hardware; validates or calibrates system or equipment as needed.
• Assists in various tasks relating to the design process.
• Uploads files as required.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience

Special Requirements/Certification

• Virtual Plaster Experience (VPX) certification, preferred.

Pay: $18.00/hr
