Rehlko, based in Kohler, Wisconsin, is seeking a Buyer to join our sourcing team. This entry-level procurement role provides exposure to category management, supplier communications, RFx activities, and cost-reduction projects while partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams.

We value collaboration, structured learning, and a path toward strategic sourcing. A degree in a related field and 0–3 years of experience are preferred; ERP and MS Office familiarity are desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, finance, or related business functions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications required. Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support Category Leaders in the execution of sourcing strategies and procurement initiatives.
• Assist in obtaining supplier quotations, analyzing bids, and preparing cost comparisons.
• Maintain purchasing data, supplier records, contracts, and procurement documentation within company systems.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and order acknowledgments to ensure continuity of supply.
• Participate in supplier communications regarding pricing, lead times, quality concerns, and delivery performance.
• Conduct market and supplier research to identify potential sourcing opportunities and emerging suppliers.
• Assist in cost reduction, productivity, and value analysis initiatives.
• Support the preparation of RFQs, RFPs, and supplier evaluation activities.
• Generate reports and perform basic spending analysis to support sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams to support business requirements.
• Learn and apply purchasing policies, procedures, sourcing methodologies, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing procurement processes and supplier performance.
