Job summary

A telecommunications company is seeking a Kinetic Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper and fiber cables to connect customers' residences. This entry-level role requires physical strength and technical knowledge, as well as strong customer service skills. Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete the required training, including overnight travel out-of-state.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical.
• Obtain DOT certification and remain DOT certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial cable.
• Use technical expertise to create meaningful connections with customers.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.

Skills

Ability to walk ½ mile

Basic technology and math skills

Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds

Education
