Job summary

PAE is looking for an aspiring engineer to join our team as an Entry Level Building Performance Specialist in New York. You’ll contribute to greenhouse gas analysis, renewable energy systems, and high-performance HVAC design while applying mechanical calculations and simulations.

You’ll use Revit and AutoCAD, support district planning through construction administration, and gain hands-on experience across the project lifecycle. A Bachelor’s in engineering and EIT eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • EIT eligibility or ability to obtain is preferred.
  • Internship experience in engineering is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of mechanical system design, modeling and documentation.
  • Provide task-based support building performance analysis and HVAC/Plumbing systems.
  • Design layouts using Revit and AutoCAD, assist with district planning and construction administration.
  • Complete assigned work with team guidance and maintain drawings and specs.

We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered.
