Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related technical discipline) required.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit; Revit experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and special systems for various facilities.
• Perform electrical load analysis, voltage drop, short-circuit, and arc flash calculations.
• Prepare electrical design documents: floor plans, single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, panel schedules, details, specs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Support construction documents through schematic design, design development, and construction phases.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines.
