Integrated Facility Services is seeking a motivated BAS Specialist to join our Building Automation team. This entry-level role suits candidates with IT, programming, networking, or electronics experience who want hands-on impact in commercial buildings.

You will deploy, configure, and support automation controllers, develop operator dashboards, assist with IT infrastructure coordination, and train end users. This role emphasizes problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated exposure to programming through coursework, projects, or work experience.
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, Python, or C++ and ability to learn BAS tools.
• Ability to read technical documentation and translate requirements into tasks.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn building automation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Participate in setup, configuration, and commissioning of automation controllers and related hardware.
• Assist with programming of building automation control logic from specifications.
• Develop and maintain operator dashboards to display building operation and status.
• Support network connectivity and IT infrastructure coordination for deployments.
• Train end users and facility teams on system navigation and operation.
• Interpret technical documentation and apply requirements during configuration.
• Coordinate tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines as a team.
