Job summary

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services is seeking a motivated Building Automation System (BAS) Installer Helper to support our installation team on commercial and industrial projects. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in electrical and building automation systems, with room to grow.

You will assist with installing conduit, pulling wire, mounting devices, and supporting lead installers to ensure safety and quality on each project.

Qualifications

• Meets SWECS minimum eligibility requirements for a new hire.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Minimum required tool list.
• Able to work in construction environments (indoors/outdoors, ladders, lifts, etc.).
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of BAS controls, panels, and devices.
• Help run conduit, pull wire, and organize materials on job sites.
• Support lead installers and technicians with daily tasks.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines at all times.
