Job summary

Required: BS in Civil Engineering; EIT/EI preferred or attainable. You will use AutoCAD and Civil 3D, perform design calculations, participate in inspections, and collaborate across disciplines to learn and grow, with opportunities

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (ME preferred).
• EIT/EI preferred, or ability to obtain.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
• Salary is contingent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on bridge design projects within an assigned team.
• Complete assignments with direction from the Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Perform design calculations and related tasks.
• Work as part of an integrated, multi-discipline team to solve technical challenges.
• Use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other tools to develop designs and organize work.
• Gather, research and maintain engineering records including tests, drawings and field data.
• Attend bridge inspections, site visits and meetings with clients and contractors for projects under construction.
• May be responsible for construction observation and limited administration.
• Read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills.
• Increase knowledge through continuous learning within and outside the organization including pursuit of an advanced engineering degree and/or certification.
