Job summary

Trace Medical, a leading provider of biomedical equipment services, is seeking an entry-level Biomedical Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain life-support and respiratory devices. You will work closely with our Bio-Medical Engineering service team to ensure safety and performance.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing, detailed record-keeping, and staying current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with a combination of relevant work experience and education will also be considered.)
• Basic understanding of technical and mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and physical

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and faults with bio-medical equipment, including but not limited to life support ventilators and general respiratory equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to equipment to ensure they meet all manufactures safety and performance standards.
• Verify the functionality of equipment post-service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the biomedical equipment industry to provide the best service.
