Job summary

Trace Medical, a leading provider of equipment rental services to home care organizations, seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to service vital life-support devices and respiratory equipment.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, test equipment after service, and keep detailed service records while staying current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with a combination of relevant work experience and education will also be considered.)
• Basic understanding of technical and mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and physical

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Troubleshooting
• Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of bio-medical equipment, including but not limited to life support ventilators and general respiratory equipment.
• Service and Maintenance
• Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to equipment to ensure they meet all manufactures safety and performance standards.
• Testing
• Verify the functionality of equipment post-service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the biomedical equipment industry to provide the best service.
