Job summary

Kiewit Industrial and Water Engineering (KIWE) in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Entry-Level BIM Designer to contribute to construction projects using Revit, Navisworks, and clash detection.

You will work in a team to develop models, perform quality checks, and support BIM processes within the Drafting & Design department. This role offers growth opportunities and a path into EPC and design-build delivery.

Qualifications

• Completion of a vocational training program or an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in CAD or Architectural Technology.
• Alternatively a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of BIM design experience.
• Ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering and vendor documents.
• Strong communication skills to work with project teams.
• Knowledge of BIM software (Revit and Navisworks) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in multi-discipline project design deliverables in Revit.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to meet project goals.
• Provide quality checks for deliverables per standards.
• Participate in BIM/Revit process development and maintenance.
• Learn company design-build engineering processes.
