Qualifications

• Fluency in English and proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) required.
• Associate's degree in business, supply chain or logistics or related field.
• Entry level considered; willingness to learn procedures and policies in purchasing.
• Ability to travel locally and work in a multicultural environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact with customs brokers for updated cargo receiving schedules.
• Perform data analysis to support purchasing decisions.
• Conduct market research to identify vendors and market trends.
• Generate reports, purchase orders, import permits, shipping documents, etc.
• Update company database with order details and maintain accurate records.
