Job summary

Atlantis Behavioral Health Services seeks an Entry-Level Behavioral Health Case Manager for a Part-Time role in El Paso, TX. You will provide PSR and targeted case management to clients across ages, in clinic and community settings, under supervision.

No prior experience is required as paid training and mentorship are provided. The role emphasizes compassionate, dependable service, travel within the community, and a flexible schedule with gas stipend support.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services per Medicaid guidelines.
• Coordinate, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain an assigned caseload with high-quality, person-centered services.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation promptly.
• Ensure services remain compliant with Medicaid, Medicare, and payer requirements.
• Monitor caseloads to keep services and documentation current.
• Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, intake staff and other team members.
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement activities.
• Respond to client needs and crises during scheduled hours.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Case Manager provides Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) and targeted case management services to children, adolescents, and adults living with mental illness.

Working under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Case Management and the leadership of the Chief Operating Officer, the Case Manager coordinates services that promote recovery, independence, community integration, and overall wellness. Services are provided in the clinic, community, and other approved locations in accordance with Medicaid regulations, agency policies, and the recovery model of care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services in accordance with agency policies and Medicaid guidelines.
• Coordinate, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain an assigned caseload while providing high-quality, person-centered services.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure services remain compliant with Medicaid, Medicare, managed care organizations, and other payer requirements.
• Monitor assigned caseloads to ensure required services and documentation remain current.
• Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, intake staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate client care.
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement activities.
• Respond appropriately to client needs and crises during scheduled work hours.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

• No previous case management experience is required. We provide comprehensive training for qualified candidates.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, social services, healthcare, or human services is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel throughout the community to provide services.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record systems.

Work Environment

This position includes office, clinic, community, and client home visits. A personal vehicle is required for community-based services. A gas stipend is provided each pay period to assist with travel expenses.
