Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker in Selden, NY to assist with basic account openings and service delivery. You will execute transactions, refer opportunities to partners, and help generate sales from service activity while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

Ideal candidates provide 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a high school diploma. This on-site role includes standard Citi benefits and a pro-rated salary for part-time hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Retail Banking or similar experience required
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer issues promptly
• Support branch sales/service activities through seminars, micromarketing events, promotions and product initiatives
• Adhere to operational controls and regulatory procedures to ensure safety of assets
• Assess risk in business decisions with emphasis on compliance and ethics
