Job summary

Old Harbor Solutions is seeking an Entry Level Ballistics Evidence Technician to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will conduct image and correlation reviews on NIBIN equipment, enter data into charts and systems, and triage cartridge casings for IBIS entry, following all safety procedures.

The role involves producing basic analytical products, summarizing information in writing, and coordinating with local and federal law enforcement.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with a valid US Driver’s License.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; combination of education and on-the-job training considered.
• Experience with law enforcement is helpful but not required.
• ATF clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct entries and image/correlation reviews on NIBIN equipment after training.
• Enter data into charts, spreadsheets, reports, and systems.
• Triage cartridge casings for IBIS entry and manage evidence in IBIS.
• Produce basic analytical products and written summaries.
