Job summary

Northeast Foods, part of the H&S Family of Bakeries in Baltimore, MD, is hiring Production General Help for our bakeries. This entry-level role performs essential duties on the production line, including box construction, packing, and quality checks, to support daily manufacturing operations.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, follow GMPs, rotate shifts including weekends, and grow within the company through hands-on experience in manufacturing and distribution.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in the production department with no prior experience required.
• Willingness to learn box construction, packing, and quality control duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform box construction, packing, and quality control duties on the production line.
• Communicate information with other employees on the same line/area.
• Ensure proper handling, stacking, and movement of ingredients and bakery products.
• Complete required work including Quality Check sheets and temperature recording.
• Communicate issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Operate and monitor food machinery safely and efficiently.
• Review the current production run and communicate adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per GMPs.
• Adapt to a fast-paced production environment and rotating shifts.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.
