Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years related work experience or two years accredited schooling in aviation electronics.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates basic technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Under supervision, installs and functionally tests electrical/avionics components per specifications and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of installations; troubleshoots processes to provide timely repairs.
• Reads and interprets schematics, wires components, and ensures conformity of installations.
• Performs engineering changes and modifications as required.
• Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests.
• Documents work performed and ensures readiness for inspection.
• Tests and maintains electronic systems and components.
• Complies with safety regulations and FOD program.
