Job summary

MEI Group is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our Arlington service team. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with repairs, and gain hands-on experience while developing your technical skills alongside experienced technicians.

This on-site, full-time role includes training, a safety-focused shop, and opportunities for growth within a Dallas–Fort Worth-based organization that values teamwork and reliable, long-term career development.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
• Assist experienced technicians with mechanical repairs and vehicle diagnostics.
• Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Participate in company training and continue developing technical skills.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
