Meineke - 2240 is seeking an entry-to-mid level automotive technician to perform basic maintenance tasks and assist seasoned technicians in diagnostics. You’ll follow standard procedures, maintain safety, and help ensure high-quality repairs.

You should have a basic automotive knowledge, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to explain issues and costs to customers. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive repair experience or technical training preferred.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and Meineke SOPs while handling tools and vehicle systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and assist in basic repairs on brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems.
• Maintain accurate service records including parts used and labor hours.
• Communicate issues, recommendations, and costs clearly to customers.
