Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an entry-level Automotive Maintenance Technician to join a busy Firestone Complete Auto Care team in Virginia Beach. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and light electrical work while under supervision.

We offer day-one benefits, on-the-job training, and opportunities to earn ASE certifications, with a flexible schedule and 401(k).

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
  • Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles.
