Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an entry-level Automotive Maintenance Technician to join our team at Firestone Complete Auto Care. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, change oil, perform maintenance, and handle tire and electrical work.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
