Job summary

Pohanka Lexus in the Washington DC Metro area is seeking entry-level certified technicians to join our team. We offer a temperature-controlled shop and a supportive environment to learn and grow your career.

You will work on a range of vehicle systems, receive ASE and GM certification reimbursement, paid holidays, and advancement opportunities. A valid driver’s license is required, and we provide extensive training in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills

• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures
• Entry-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as specified on the repair order efficiently
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools
• Maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C)
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional required services and time estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
