Job summary

Westside Lexus is seeking an experienced Lexus/Toyota Automotive Technician to join our team in Houston. You will diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards, discuss repairs with the service team, and monitor time while maintaining policy compliance.

Mentoring trainee technicians may be part of the role. We offer a climate-controlled shop, on-the-job training, advancement opportunities, competitive pay, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum of one ASE Certification preferred.
• A technical education is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must have own tools available for use.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to meet factory standards.
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman and service advisor.
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly.
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
