Goodyear is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our auto service centers. You will learn basic services while delivering outstanding customer service and safety-conscious practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, and filters replacements.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain strict adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and handling tires and wheels.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
