Job summary

Valvoline Express Care / Castrol Oil Change is hiring entry-level Automotive Technicians. You will assist customers with preventive maintenance, perform services like oil changes and filters, and deliver excellent service in a fast-paced team environment.

No prior automotive experience is required as paid training is provided to develop necessary skills for a career in preventive maintenance. Weekend availability is a plus and a positive attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work with hands above shoulder level.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by evaluating customers' vehicle maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance services, including: Oil and filter changes; Fluid inspections and refills; Air filter replacement; Windshield wiper replacement; Light inspections and replacement.
• Tire pressure checks; Complete vehicle safety inspections.
• Recommend maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Work efficiently with team members to ensure excellent customer experiences.
