Acura of Highland Park, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, seeks an Automotive Detailer to keep vehicles clean, polished and ready for customers in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Automotive detailing or related experience helpful, but training is available.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a busy dealership environment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning tools, detailing equipment, and dealership vehicles.
• Reliable attendance, good time management, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, vacuum, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Buff, wax, polish, and apply protective finishes as needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, carpets, seats, and upholstery.
• Inspect completed work to ensure dealership quality standards.
• Identify and report vehicle damage or needed repairs to the service team.
• Safely move vehicles around the dealership lot and service areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized detailing area and properly care for tools, products, and equipment.
• Work as part of a team to keep vehicles ready for sales, service, and customer delivery.

Acura of Highland Park, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is hiring an Automotive Detailer to help keep our new and pre‑owned vehicles clean, polished, and ready for customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in hands‑on work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working around vehicles in a fast‑paced dealership environment.

Job Details

Location: Libertyville, IL | Job Type: Full‑time | Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience, plus performance incentives

$20 - $22 an hour

What You’ll Do

• Wash, dry, vacuum, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors.
