BraunAbility in Arlington, TX is seeking a General Service Technician to support mobility solutions through essential automotive maintenance, vehicle check-in, and lot management. This entry-level role offers a pathway into the automotive and mobility services industry, with hands-on training and customer interaction.

You will work on WAVs and standard systems, following safety protocols, while contributing to a positive dealership experience and professional development.

Qualifications

• One to two years of general automotive repair/maintenance experience.
• Driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/bend for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and flexible attitude.
• Willingness to pursue formal automotive training.
• Must maintain minimum average of 6 billed hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle check-in to ensure accurate inventory records and identify issues.
• Vehicle reconditioning of trade-in and customer vehicles for sale or delivery.
• Perform basic maintenance: tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
• Inspect and service suspension components and replace common parts.
• Service WAVs and mobility lifts; assist with basic repairs and installations.
• Electrical and general mechanical tasks such as alternators, belts, hoses, batteries and filters.
