Job summary

Delta World Tire in Poplarville, MS is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive services and support ASE-certified technicians. You will receive training to advance toward becoming an ASE Automotive Technician.

Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, depending on experience. The role requires Monday–Saturday work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, MVR, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred; energetic and hardworking candidates considered.
• Ability to work Monday–Saturday.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors and the corporate office.
• Operates company vehicle safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Conducts state safety and emissions inspections as required.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, balance, and rotation.
• Performs oil changes and basic services under supervision.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and documents vehicle condition in repair orders.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
