  • Learn to safely use automotive tools, lifts, shop equipment, and diagnostic systems.
  • Develop hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and vehicle systems.
  • Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs within the scope of your training.

What You'll Do

You’ll start with the fundamentals and continue building your skills as you gain experience. Responsibilities may include:

  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, inspections, and other basic services
  • Assist experienced technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
  • Learn to safely use automotive tools, lifts, shop equipment, and diagnostic systems
  • Develop hands‑on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and vehicle systems
  • Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs within the scope of your training
  • Complete assigned work according o Mercedes-Benz and dealership procedures and quality standards
  • Accurately document completed work
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work closely with technicians, service advisors, and parts personnel to keep the service department running efficiently
  • Participate in training and continue developing your technical skills
  • Safely operate customer and dealership vehicles as required

Physical & Work Requirements

This position works in an active automotive service environment. Employees may be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, lift and carry tools or automotive components, and work around moving vehicles, shop equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
