Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations/Firestone Complete Auto Care in Nashville, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This entry-level role implies diagnostic and repair work on passenger vehicles, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

Full-time and part-time benefits are offered from day one, including training and ASE certifications. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and tire maintenance, and test drive vehicles to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers and inspect electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify work performed.
