Job summary

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team.

This entry-level role is part of a larger Bridgestone Retail Operations team that services vehicles and tires, with full and part-time benefits available from day one. The technician will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and install batteries and shocks, with road testing included as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
