Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care in Independence, MO. You will join a strong team servicing vehicles and providing day-one benefits with options for full-time and part-time schedules.

Pay range is posted at $13.20–$19.80 per hour. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, performing oil changes and maintenance, installing tires and batteries, and road testing vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical tasks ability
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times
• Reading, writing, and math skills

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive components including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers and check electrical systems.
