Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Reading, PA, is hiring an Automotive Maintenance Technician to join Firestone Complete Auto Care. This entry-level role supports a team servicing vehicles, performing brakes, tires, oil changes, and basic electrical checks as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and maintain tires; service batteries and shock absorbers; inspect electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation after service.
