Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our automotive service team. This entry level role is essential to supporting vehicle service across our Firestone Complete Auto Care locations and helps you start investing in your career.

You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance, and install tires, batteries, and other components while road testing vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems (brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, electrical).
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
