Midas Auto Experts in Eatontown, NJ is seeking an Entry Level Technician (C Tech) to join a full‑service facility. You will perform a wide range of automotive maintenance tasks and assist in inspections and repairs, while growing skills with peers.

We value basic automotive knowledge, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the willingness to learn. ASE Certifications and/or years of repair experience are referenced as qualifications for progression. Candidates must hold a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Entry level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics.
• Knowledge of shop equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges/flushes and oil changes.
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections.
• Mounting, balancing, rotating tires and performing alignments.
• Replacing batteries.
• Changing bulbs, belts and hoses.
• Replacing brakes and rotors.
• Suspension work.
• Maintaining and cleaning shop areas.
• Willingness to learn and grow as a technician.
• Other shop maintenance items as needed.
