Midas Auto Experts in Freehold, NJ is seeking entry level automotive technicians to join a full-service shop focused on inspection, diagnosis and repair. You will work independently and with peers, handling routine maintenance, safety inspections, tire service, and general shop tasks to support a successful team.

Ideal candidates have automotive basics, a valid driver's license, a solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level technicians must have knowledge of automotive basics.
• Knowledge of shop equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid exchanges.
• Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections.
• Mounting, balancing and rotating tires.
• Replace batteries and change bulbs, belts and hoses as needed.
• Maintain and clean shop areas.
• Assist with other shop maintenance items as needed.
