Job summary

Luther Mazda in Hopkins, MN is seeking an entry-level Auto Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems up to dealership standards. You will use diagnostic tools and test drives while coordinating with Service Advisors to ensure excellent customer communication.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong time-management, and the ability to work independently. ASE certification is ideal, with growth opportunities and paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail under tight timelines.
• Willingness to follow direction while working independently.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
• ASE certification is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, etc.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, special service equipment and standard test drives to monitor vehicle components and systems
• Perform work efficiently to dealership specifications
• Maintain continuous communication with Service Advisors of needed services to ensure excellent customer communication
