Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Mililani Town, Hawaii, is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers. You will learn basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service and receive comprehensive training.

No prior experience is required; you will be trained in tire mounting, balancing, oil changes, and preventative maintenance as part of a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and component maintenance.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
