Job summary

Hunter's Garage is now hiring a full-time Shop Assistant for our busy shop. No weekends, an excellent entry-level path to become a Lube Technician, Apprentice Mechanic, or General Service Technician.

Responsibilities include cleaning and organizing the shop, checking in vehicles, performing quality-control checks, washing and waxing, delivering parts, and performing light maintenance such as changing wiper blades and tires. Training provided to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• No previous automotive experience required.
• Dependable and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-minded and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize the shop.
• Check in vehicles and perform quality-control checks.
• Wash and wax vehicles.
• Pick up and deliver parts as needed.
• Perform light mechanical tasks, such as replacing wiper blades, adding air to tires, checking batteries, and changing cabin and engine air filters.
• Assist the team with other duties as assigned.
