Qualifications
- Dealership environment experience is not required but helpful.
- Technical schooling is required.
- ASE certification encouraged but not required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Interest in automotive industry and teamwork is essential.
- Willingness to pass drug screen and background check.
- Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and adherence to dealership procedures.
- Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles and using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
- Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional work and provide time estimates.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
