Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Peoria, AZ is seeking an entry-level General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance while learning from experienced technicians. You will complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document findings, keeping the shop clean and safe, and supporting service advisors and leaders.

Qualifications

• Reliable and safety-focused with mechanical interest.
• Able to follow procedures and store processes.
• Willing to learn basic automotive maintenance.
• Have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repairs accurately.
• Identify safety issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and organized.
• Transport customers and parts as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; report hazards.
