Job summary

Pack Auto Group is seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our Lewisville operations. You will perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards, starting with oil changes and progressing as you develop skills.

You’ll work closely with service advisors, other technicians, and parts staff to ensure timely, high-quality service. We value a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• As an Entry-Level Automotive Service Technician, you'll perform basic vehicle repairs as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Work alongside other technicians and initially handle maintenance work such as oil changes.
• Ensure assigned repairs are completed on time and deliver top-notch workmanship to delight customers.
• Interact daily with service advisors, other technicians, parts associates, cashiers, sales associates, and managers.
• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and service advisors regularly to manage production and Customer communication.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of normal technician’s tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as "special tools."
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
