Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is part of Bridgestone Americas and employs over 22,000 teammates in North America. A Maintenance Technician is an entry level position providing essential vehicle service within a team.

Pay range starts at $14.37 and goes to $22.45, with opportunities for on-the-job training and ASE certifications. Position involves learning to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, performing scheduled maintenance, tire services, and road testing vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
