Tharp Consulting is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician for a full-time, entry-level role in our automotive shop. You’ll perform oil changes, tire services, basic inspections, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

This position offers hands-on training, opportunities for advancement to Technician roles, weekend shifts, and a collaborative team culture focused on safety and quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.
• Interest in automotive repair, ability to follow procedures, and work collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Must be 18 or older; flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Conduct oil changes and basic maintenance like fluid checks, replacing wipers, bulbs, batteries, and filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document findings thoroughly.
• Identify safety issues, communicate effectively, and conduct inspections per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles, shop, and surrounding areas.
• Transport parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and report hazards.
• Collaborate with team members, accept coaching, and participate in ongoing training.
• Work flexibly, including weekends, and perform other duties as assigned.
