Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year industry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Operates manual or automatic assembly machines to assemble, bump, crimp, knurl, slot, insert, stamp, groove cut, or re-work parts to specifications.
• Operates support machines (arbor, drill press, cutters, rollers) and hand tools (pliers, wrenches).
• Checks parts for dimensional accuracy using micrometers and calipers.
• Provides necessary counts and maintains production logs.
