Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Erlanger, KY. This contract-to-hire position involves performing mechanical assembly, labeling, and reporting tasks under supervision in a clean, onsite facility.

You will follow detailed instructions and use hand tools and scanners to ensure accurate, quality work. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in assembly, basic tool use, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with assembly tasks.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations.
• Manually assemble inserted components using visual aids, verifying specifications.
• Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly.
• Utilize scanners and hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Accurately report assembly work.
• Work under direct supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
