Position: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler who can operate basic hand tools, follow work instructions, assemble loose components into final assemblies, cross-train, and rotate into other areas of final assembly to support customer demands. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual eager to grow with our company.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Identify problems with assemblies and generate Non-Conforming Material Reports to document issues.
2. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and implement solutions.
3. Work with Quality Engineering to improve assembly and quality management processes.
4. Streamline existing assembly/integration processes by analyzing current procedures and recommending improvements.
5. Provide daily and weekly project status updates within the work group.
6. Assemble, test, and package products from all product lines produced in the plant.

Desired Characteristics:

1. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required.
2. Ability to perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, and bending.
3. Ability to work in a shop environment for at least 10 hours per day, primarily standing or sitting.
4. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

First shift (days 4:30 am to 2:30 pm), Monday-Thursday, with availability to work on Fridays and Saturdays.
