David Weekley Homes in Austin seeks an Architectural Drafter to join the Design Services Team. Candidate will develop site drawings, create construction documents, and coordinate plans with field teams for residential projects on-site in Austin.

Ideal applicants hold a Bachelor's or Associate's in architecture or related field, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and strong communication skills. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities within a nationally

DavidWeekley Homes, a progressive leader in the homebuilding industry and nationally recognized for award-winning designs, is seeking a qualified individual to be apart of our Design Services Team in Austin as an Architectural Drafter.We are looking for someone who has an enthusiastic attitude, a strong work ethic, a passion for residential design coupled with a strong focus on Customer service!

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop site drawings noting house location on lot
• Develop construction documents for permitting and starts
• Revise architectural plans as marked and thoroughly coordinates all sheets that are affected by any changes
• Interaction with field Team Members for projects under construction
• Facilitate problem solving with fellow Team Members and City Coordinators

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field
• Knowledge of residential plans and construction drawings preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software required
• Must work well under time constraints
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Service oriented mindset with a Team player attitude
