Job summary

HNTB invites current and recent interns to contribute to the design and documentation process for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will work under supervision to gather information, organize data, and apply it to architectural documents across multiple locations, including Miami, Denver, and New York.

The role emphasizes independent task execution, application of standard architectural techniques, and collaboration with architects and engineers to interpret codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Experience with architectural design standards and codes is beneficial.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts tasks requiring independent judgment in the analysis of design, planning and occupancy studies and design layouts.
• Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for project assignments.
• Assists in the preparation of project specifications compiling and analyzing relevant data.
• Confers with other architects and engineers for the purpose of explaining and interpreting architectural standards, codes or regulations.
• Prepares progress reports and keeps others informed.
• Participates in quality implementation plans, including scheduling QC reviews and compiling comments into project documents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
