Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking current and recent interns for architectural-related roles across multiple locations. Interns will perform elementary architectural assignments, compile data, and assist in preparing working drawings on projects of limited scope.

The role involves assisting in data collection for plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports, as well as preliminary space and design studies. Ideal candidates are enrolled in applicable post-secondary programs and meet internship

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; currently enrolled in a post-secondary architectural or related program.
• For Current and Recent HNTB Interns ONLY.

Responsibilities

• Performs elementary architectural assignments and works from designs of others.
• Compiles data, performs basic computations and prepares working drawings on projects of limited scope.
• Assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, business development, etc.
• Assists in conducting preliminary studies to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of contract drawings.
• Researches, gathers, and records information for use in writing specifications.
• Performs basic analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies and limited design layouts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
